MIMINOIMIはイベントシリーズFood For Earsの第10回目を開催します。今回は、Yumiko Moriokaと小久保隆がMétron Recordsから今年3月にリリースする共作作品を記念したコラボレーションライブ、更にフィンランド人の音楽家Olli Aarniとアーティストの上村洋一のライブを実施します。

近年急速に再評価が進むアンビエント・アーティストYumiko Moriokaとコンスタントに作品を発表する小久保隆 は、2023年にコンサートで共演しました。
それ以来、二人の間に交流が生まれ、自然発生的にコラボレーションが始まりました。

小久保隆はシンセサイザーを使った透明感のあるアンビエント・ミュージックで知られているアーティストですが、実は世界各地を旅しながら録音を続けるフィールド・レコーディング作家の顔も持っています。今回のコラボレーションは小久保隆のフィールド・レコーディングの音にYumiko Moriokaがインスパイアされ即興を行い、それに対して小久保隆が更にシンセサイザーやサヌカイトで応答するという制作方法が取られました。

そして、完成したのは地球をテーマにした『Gaiaphilia』という作品です。この作品はそれぞれ独自の領域で活動してきたアーティストが出会い、時間を共有し、地球環境の状態に思いを馳せる中で感じた感情や感覚が投影された作品になります。

他方、フィンランド人Olli Aarniは様々な音楽スタイルを柔軟に横断しながらクオリティーの高い作品をリリースし続けている音楽作家で、上村洋一はフィールド・レコーディングを制作の主体としながらインスタレーションなどの形態で作品発表を展開するアーティストです。2021年以来、フィンランドを舞台に、デュオライブを継続的に実施している2人は、現在、今秋リリース予定のコラボレーションアルバムを製作中です。

『Gaiaphilia』がライブでどのように演奏されるのか、そして新進気鋭の二人のアーティストがいかなる即興的なコレスポンダンスを行うのか、これらを目撃するため、是非、現場に足を運んでみてください！！

盛岡夕美子

幼少期からピアノをはじめ、来日中のアメリカ人のピアニストに才能を見出され高校１年からアメリカに留学。そのままサンフランシスコ音楽院に進学し、大学を主席で卒業。大学在学時にはミニマリズムの作曲家John　Adamsに師事する。宮下智名義で１９８０年に田原俊彦の「はっとしてGOOD」を作曲し、日本レコード大賞最優秀新人賞を受賞。１９８７年にファースト・ソロアルバム「余韻：レゾナンス」を伊藤詳が主催するレーベル「GREEN&WATER」から発表。１９９０年、Synergetic Voice Orchestra名義でワールドミュージックのアルバム「MIOS」を発表、さらに９０年代にはCulturemix名義で２作品を発表し、９４年にアメリカに渡り、チョコラティエに転身。現在はチョコレートトリュフ専門店世田谷トリュフのオーナー。２０２０年に「余韻：レゾナンス」がイギリスMétron Recordsから再発され、再評価が急速に進んでいる。

Yumiko Morioka started her musical training as a classical pianist at age three.
She graduated from The San Francisco Conservatory of Music where she studied piano and composition. She studied composition with a legendary John Adams at the conservatory, and was deeply influenced by his minimalistic approach of composition. Although she had to write other types of music, such as Japanese pop songs, in order to support her living, one of her songs became a biggest hit single in 1980. She became a very popular composer under alias , Tomo Miyashita. She wrote many hit songs during the 80’s and received many awards equivalent to the Japanese Grammy. In 1987, she finally released her solo piano album ”Resonance” which is more of her own music style, rather than the commercial works she has been writing. This album was not so popular in Japan then, but after 30 years, it was recognized overseas, and was reissued from British Label Métron Records and this time it was well received among the ambient music audience.

小久保隆

小久保隆（こくぼ たかし）は、日本の環境音楽家で、自然音やフィールドレコーディングを取り入れた独自の音楽スタイルで知られています。彼の作品が収録されたコンピレーション・アルバム「Kankyo Ongaku – Japanese Ambient, Environmental & New Age Music 1980–1990」は、2020年の第62回グラミー賞にノミネートされ、環境音楽の重要性を再認識させました。小久保の音楽は、耳に心地よい自然の音を巧みに重ね、リスナーに癒しをもたらします。また、彼は携帯電話の緊急地震速報のアラーム音や、電子マネー「iD」の決済音といった日常生活においても聴かれる音を手掛け、幅広いジャンルでの影響力を発揮しています。彼の作品は、聴く人々に自然とのつながりの大切さを感じさせると同時に、現代社会における音の可能性を広げています。

Takeshi Kokubo is a Japanese ambient artist known for his unique musical style that incorporates natural sounds and field recordings. His works are featured in the compilation album “Kankyo Ongaku – Japanese Ambient, Environmental & New Age Music 1980–1990,” which was nominated for the 62nd Grammy Awards in 2020, highlighting the importance of Japanese ambient music and environmental music. Kokubo’s music artfully layers soothing natural sounds to bring relaxation and healing to listeners. Additionally, he has contributed to important sound design projects, including the emergency earthquake alert on mobile phones and the payment sound for the electronic money service “iD,” demonstrating his influence across a wide range of genres. His works evoke a sense of connection to nature while expanding the possibilities of sound in contemporary society.

Olli Aarni

Olli Aarniは実験的なサウンド＆ミュージックアーティストであり、色彩豊かな音を軽やかに融合させ、繊細で重層的なサウンドスケープを生み出している。自然の持つ混沌、複雑さ、予測不可能性が電子音の流れに溶け込み、秩序と無秩序、ミニマリズムとマキシマリズムの間を絶えず揺れ動く共鳴する織物を形成する。Aarniは多様な技法とアプローチを用い、そのサウンドスケープは感覚を優しく包み込みながら、思考をくすぐるような刺激を与える。Olli Aarniの録音作品は四大陸でリリースされており、さらにインスタレーション、サウンド・ポエトリー、インタラクティブなウェブベースのサウンド作品、ラジオ作品なども手がけている。

Olli Aarni is an experimental sound and music artist, whose works merrily merge colourful sounds into each other, forming delicate and layered soundscapes. The chaos, complexity and unpredictability of nature flow into the stream of electric sounds, forming a resonating weave that constantly sways between order and disorder, minimalism and maximalism. Aarni works with various techniques and approaches, and his soundscapes both fondle the feelings and tickle the thoughts.Olli Aarni’s recorded work has been published in four continents, and in addition he has made installations, sound poetry, interactive web-based sound pieces, and radio work. 

上村洋一

上村洋一は、ヴィジュアル＆サウンドアーティストであり、フィールドレコーディングを通じて、人間と自然の内面的かつ精神的なつながりを探求している。近年は、知床の流氷、スカンジナビアの基盤岩、アイスランドの氷河、アマゾン熱帯雨林、そして世界最大の滝であるイグアスの滝など、さまざまな自然現象を研究してきた。これらのリサーチをもとに、国内外で瞑想的で没入型のサウンドインスタレーション、ドローイング、絵画、サウンドパフォーマンスを発表している。最近の音響作品には、『Therme Vals』（Vertical Music, 2023）や、『harkening critters』（forms of minutiae, 2024）がある。

Yoichi Kamimura is a visual and sound artist. He explores the inner and spiritual connections between humans and nature through field recordings. In recent years, he has conducted research on various natural phenomena, including drift ice in Shiretoko, Scandinavian bedrocks, glaciers in Iceland, the Amazon rainforest, and Iguazú Falls, the world’s largest waterfall. Drawing upon this research, he has presented immersive sound installations, drawings, paintings, and sound performances in Japan and internationally. Recently released audio works include Therme Vals (Vertical Music, 2023) and harkening critters (forms of minutiae, 2024) in Berlin.
